Tribal Ministry
Revelation 3:8 – “See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”
When a preacher is concerned about the depth of the ministry, God will take care of the breadth of the ministry. As we focus on faithful exposition of the scriptures and in shepherding the flock of God, God will open new doors to advance in His ministry.
By the grace of God, a new ministry opportunity has been laid before us to preach to tribal groups, who dwell 120 miles away from Vizag city. Commuting to these places is tough row to hoe. We can travel by cars only to those major villages in the hills, which have road connectivity. We leave our vehicles there and walk many miles to reach our destination. The slippery and steep paths add to the difficulty. The villages are too small to be traced even on Google Earth. Praise God for some faithful brothers who have been passionately serving the Lord in preaching gospel and establishing local churches in those interior areas. It is amazing to witness the work God has been doing in these areas and how the power of the gospel has been transforming people in drawing them to Christ.
For the past three years, we have been rejoicing in this ministry as go to proclaim the word of God to these people. Crowds turn up for the meetings, demonstrating their love for the Lord and hunger for the word of God.
